Use of Facilities

Several sections of Iowa law govern private use of state facilities. Iowa conflict of interest law, Iowa Code §68B.2A, prohibits use for private purposes (unless the general public is also able to use the public facility). Another section forbids the use of state property for private purposes to the detriment of the state. Iowa Code §721.2(5). ISU has implemented these sections through the following provisions:

• Conflicts of Interest and Commitment
